Highlights
Teaching the Bible
The Bible is not limited to a single class, or a weekly chapel service. Rather, the tenets of Scripture and Christian doctrine form the foundation of everything we teach. But we also devote significant time to studying and memorizing the Word, exploring everything from its literary forms and historical contexts, to its theological constructs and role in the Christian church. Most importantly, we honor the Bible as God-breathed and inerrant, letting the Holy Spirit transform us as we read it.
Developing Christian Culture
Disciples are not meant to practice their faith in isolation. We are passionate about developing and maintaining a Christian culture which enables and promotes growth in all participants. We want to spur one another on to faithfulness and maturity, gracefully supporting our brothers and sisters in the common goal of glorifying Jesus. This will make for an entirely uncommon environment, a culture marked by love, truth, and integrity.
Academic Excellence
The goal for our students is wisdom. This begins with knowing who God is, and how all things are held together in him. From this posture of humility, we grow our knowledge of created things, developing competence - and eventually excellence - in language, mathematics, science, and philosophy. Our relationship with the Source allows us to find meaning and inspiration in all subjects, and study becomes richer than we ever imagined. A King’s education is truly a lifelong adventure.
Critical Thinking
The next generation will need to be equipped in discernment. They will need to know the difference between advanced AI content and real life. They will need to know how to analyze, critique, remain skeptical, and articulate themselves convincingly. They will need to know what can be used for good, and what is harmful. They will be faced with decisions previous generations never faced; for this they will need a unique set of skills that can be gained from a thorough education – and, most importantly, the indwelling power of the Spirit.
